Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing, accessing or using the COMBINI×HUNTER mobile application or visiting combinixhunter.com (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

COMBINI×HUNTER is a free mobile geocollection game built around a worldwide hunt for convenience stores. Players walk to real-world convenience stores anywhere on the planet, photograph them on location, and add them to a personal collection. The Service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

3. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You may not impersonate any person or entity.
One account per person. Multi-accounting to inflate scores is prohibited.

4. User content

"User Content" means photos, captions, comments, profile information and any other material you submit. By submitting User Content you:

retain ownership of your content;
grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and adapt your content solely to operate the Service;
warrant that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate any third party's rights, including privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or any law.

You are solely responsible for the photos you take. Photos must respect local laws on private property, image rights, and personal data. Do not photograph identifiable individuals without consent.

5. Prohibited conduct

Cheating: GPS spoofing, photo manipulation, automation, multi-accounting.
Submitting fake or misleading store data.
Posting offensive, illegal, threatening, defamatory, or copyrighted content.
Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attacking the Service or its infrastructure.
Using the Service for commercial purposes without prior written agreement.

Violations may result in capture invalidation, score reset, content removal, account suspension or termination.

6. Anti-cheat & moderation

The Service uses automated checks (GPS verification, perceptual hashing, distance caps, daily caps) and human moderation. Captures or accounts identified as fraudulent may be removed without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse, modify or remove User Content at our sole discretion.

7. Third-party trademarks

COMBINI×HUNTER is a worldwide hunt across convenience store networks. The Service mentions third-party retail chain trademarks — including but not limited to 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Lawson, and Ministop — for informational and descriptive purposes only, in connection with the game mechanic which involves photographing real-world stores of these chains.

7-Eleven, the 7-Eleven logo and associated distinctive signs are registered trademarks owned by 7-Eleven, Inc. and Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. FamilyMart is a registered trademark of FamilyMart Co. Ltd. Lawson is a registered trademark of Lawson Inc. Ministop is a registered trademark of Ministop Co. Ltd. All other retail chain names mentioned in the Service remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. Any unauthorized reproduction, imitation, or use of these trademarks by third parties is strictly prohibited.

The publisher of COMBINI×HUNTER expressly declares:

not to be affiliated with, partnered with, sponsored by, authorized by, or otherwise contractually linked to any of the convenience store chains referenced in the Service or any entity of their respective groups;
not to use any retailer's logo, lettering, official colors, or other distinctive graphic element in its interface, visual identity, or communications;
to cite chain names solely as a necessary reference to indicate to users the real-world subject of the game, in accordance with Article L713-6 of the French Intellectual Property Code and equivalent principles in other jurisdictions (descriptive use of a trademark to designate the destination of a service);
to derive no direct commercial profit from the mention of any trademark, the application being offered free of charge.

Store location data is sourced from publicly available open data (OpenStreetMap) and user submissions. Users are informed that any photograph taken within the context of the game remains under their responsibility and must comply with local regulations regarding private property and image rights.

In the event of a legitimate request from the owner of a referenced trademark, the publisher commits to reviewing any observation and to making necessary adjustments within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Intellectual property of the Service

All software, design, brand assets (logo, icons, illustrations), wordmark, and original content of the Service are the exclusive property of the publisher. No license is granted to you except the limited right to use the Service as intended.

9. No purchases (current version)

The current version is free, contains no in-app purchases, no advertisements, and no subscription. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, in which case updated terms will apply prospectively.

10. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service in whole or in part, at any time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect existing accounts.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for any legitimate operational reason.

12. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

You are responsible for your physical safety when using the Service in the real world. Do not use the Service while driving. Pay attention to your surroundings. Do not enter prohibited areas.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
